For the holiday season, Salon Vert in Carouge, Geneva, will welcome “Paper Walls”, an exhibition comprised of new paintings by the English artist Phillip Reeves. Phillip Reeves’s paintings are filled with fictional and sometimes fantastical scenes that evoke the indistinct perception of time and of space in memory, recollection, and dreams. He depicts interiors or dreamlike landscapes in which are mixed familiar elements of life, and in which figure, both stylistically and symbolically, a nearly nostalgic expression of the ordinary or of an improbable world.
