Le Salon Vert is delighted to welcome Michele Landel for a solo exhibition following her participation in the gallery’s collective show in 2021. Landel is an American artist living and working in Sèvres, France since 2005. Her practice associates fabric, painting and collage with photography. Her work has been exhibited throughout all of Europe and in the United States. In the eerily titled Invisible; Unseen; Unknown, Michele Landel will present a series of still lifes and landscapes featuring figures, printed on cloth. Her work is created in a lengthy process that takes several successive stages as she constructs each image in great detail and calls upon digital techniques as well as collage and painting. She uses several materials, of which fabric is a central element.
